PHOTO SHOOT
Day One
Tuesday May 14, 2024

Organized by: - Steve Bell

Property:- Craig Beddie & John Bone

Photos by: - Dave Dickinson

Steve Bell came up with the idea of contacting the TNRD
To see if their film commision would be interested in using some of the club's vehicles in a movie.

This could possibly create some money for the club that could be used o pay for future storage.

Between Ken and Steve they had arranged for a photographer from the TNRD and a reporter from Kamloops Castanet to come on
Tuesday May 14th, at 1:15pm and take some pictures.

TNRD for their files for future movies
Castanet to run a notice that we need storage for these vehicles

It was decided to take the club vehicles over to
Mission Flats Road where the river would
act as a back drop.

John Foley's does a little dusting
Brendon was the photographer from the TNRD where as the reporter from
Castanet apologized for not making it as she was tied up
at the City's Council meeting and it ran late.

As Ken had set it up for us to meet at 1 pm
and they arrived right on time.

Sorry did not get the names of the TV crew

The boys stayed out of the way and watched
They interviewed Ken first with a lot of questions about the Chapter before switching over to John Bone to fill them in with information about the vehicles as each of  our vehicles have a History that relates to the city of Kamloops
John during his interview
After the interviews the lady on the camera took a lot of video on each vehicle
After an hour of taking video's and doing the interview it was time to head back to the storage before the rain set in.
She set up her camera to catch the vehicles leaving with the
sirens on the fire truck and ambulance working
Back at the city's yard

Next time the vehicles will be used is for the HNITC.
Thanks to those members that came out to help.
