It turned out that Ray Henry our summer Cruise Night Director had nothing on his list for tonights Cruise.
I
suggested a drive to Heffley Creek to see the new Slo-Pitch Ball Park
that the city had just completed on the site of the old Rayleigh
Corrections Facility & back to our place for Ice Cream
|
| | |
As it was a beautiful Kamloops summer evening we had 15 cars and 41 club members show up for the drive.
|
| | |
| | |
We left Riverside Park and drove up Highway 5 to the Heffley Creek Hall.
While stopped at the hall more cards were picked up from Ernie & Marg for the usual night poker run
Others while waiting visited the local Antique store before contining on to the Slo-Pitch Park |

It
was getting late however those with good head lights on their cars did
stop by our house for ice cream before calling
it quits. |
| | |

|
| | |
 | The Ice Cream had to be put away as it was melting faster than everyone was eating. | |

"Time to pack up and head home" | |
