This year there was no "Margue" as we have had in the past Easter Parades This year we featured our 4 club vehicles which led the drive from Mac Island to Riverside Park | |||

The drive started at 1:00 pm from Mac Island and drove out to the Dunes in Westsyde and back to the Airport. After leaving the airport it was trip through the parking lot of The RiverBend seniors residence in Brocklehurst. The cars where scheduled to arrive at Riverside Park at 2:00 pm. Some did not visit River Bend or drive the proposed route through down town Kamloops. This presented a slight problem as they arrived before the parking crew did and of course they were not parked in the correct order or place. It got straighten out and everything turned out okay. | ||

Elaine Jones our "Sunshine Girl" is always appreciated as our Easter Bunny She said she forgot her basket but was not worried about losing the job as no other member in our club could fit in the costume. | ||

The people of Kamloops love to see the cars. The original Easter Parade (197) was sponsored by the Jaycees and it is beleived in 1974 or 1975 our Chapter took it over and has been providing Kamloops with an Easter Parade ever since. (We had to missed 2 years because of covid) | ||
I am sure it will happen all over again for 2023 Easter | ||
