Twice each year we participte in the City of Kamloops Adopt A Road program by cleaning the road in front of the samill and the road from the highway over to the Heffly Creek school.
The city supplies the signs and vest for the workers. They also give all the volunteers a Teen Burger from A & W.
I do not know if Ernie was going to try and pick up this old shovel that has been left on the side of the road since the raod was constructed.
I know it would bring a good dollar for scrap.
